The welcome function for the 1st batch of the Dam Safety and Rehabilitation (DSR) program and the 50th batch of the Hydrology Program was conducted in the Department. Ms. Debashree Mukherjee, the Additional Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, and Director IIT Roorkee, Prof. Ajit K Chaturvedi joined the function online along with the four heads of the Departments (Hydrology, Civil, Earthquake and WRDM) and associated faculty members.
On completion of the glorious 50 years of Hydrology program at the Department of Hydrology IIT, we are organizing a Welcome Function on 1st October for our new M Tech and Ph.D. students.
