►D- Resilient Neighbourhood Agent (DrNA): Disaster Resilience Neighbourhood Agents is an interdisciplinary team comprising of Academia, Researchers from Architecture, Planning, Transportation Systems, Disaster Management and Coders who believe in the importance of Play in the process of learning and decision making. Phenomenon like climate change and possible disaster are difficult to visualise by the community. Further, Covid-19 has brought us to rethink of our pedagogical approach and its spread beyond the walls of labs and classroom. Therefore, the team develops games as a pedagogical tool to connect scientific labs with the community in an interesting and simplified manner. The game, It’s Floodin’, is such a porotype under development by the team based on their planning studio exercise. ►Construction Workshop: A SIX Days, MUD DOME CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP (Mexican Dome / Boveda Mexicana) was conducted by Ar. Varun Thautam, along with Prof. Ramasubramaniam Shankar (with the help of Ar. Sanjay Pal), during 11-15 Jan, 2018, in the Dept. of Architecture & Planning, IIT Roorkee. Prof. Smriti Saraswat organized inscriptions of the participants, and coordinated the over all workshop, along with the Head of the Department Prof. P.S. Chani.
