Rafting 2016
“ It’s not always necessary to be strong, but to feel strong”
On the morning of March 18th, 2017, a group of 40 explorers led by Tejasv Vashistha and Mayank Ahlawat, left out for an adventure. None had the slightest idea that this trip would turn out to be this memorable and exciting journey. They reached Rishikesh at around 1 pm, and the fun began there. They were all strangers to one another hoping to get along and then very soon they lost themselves in the wilderness of adventure.

After the lunch, they left for Neergadh waterfalls, where the water was falling, rolling and hopping down the hill making the view spectacular. At its widest point, the stream was surging up like a beautiful mermaid. The beauty of this panoramic view felt as if the time stopped there itself. After few hours, the group left for the camp, where another adventure was yet to begin. With the vibes of music, the dusk began and very soon it slipped under the blanket of sparkling stars and moon. The night was full of ‘bakar’, dance performances and horror stories. Everything was so absorbing that it felt like the most happening moments of the life. On the very next day, the group headed for the rock climbing and then rafting. Rock climbing was an ultimate adventure and breathtaking sport. They enjoyed a lot, pretending to be professionals in the photoshoot. Heading to the next thrilling and exciting event, which was of course rafting through the holy Ganges. Each raft had 10 members along with a guide. The stretch of rafting spans over 36 kms. It was the most amazing and awesome encounter, which came to an end as they reached Ghat near Ram Jhoola. After this thrilling experience, the group left for Roorkee at 6:00 pm and reached at 9:00 pm. Finally, everyone was thanking H.E.C. for their invaluable efforts and opportunities they provide, there were hugs, handshakes and unforgettable memories to be carried ahead in life
