Government Polytechnic, Gairsain was established in 2013 for imparting Engineering Education and promoting Technological Environment of Garhwal Region, the State and Country. It was started with only one Branch in Electrical Engg. Government Polytechnic, Gairsain is associated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee. Every year an entrance exam is conducted by U.B.T.E. Roorkee. After qualifying this Exam (JEEP) students are selected through counseling for Government Polytechnic, Gairsain.
