Government Polytechnic Rudraprayag offers three Diploma courses namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Presently Government Polytechnic Rudraprayag is running "Computer Science and Engineering" course only. The classes of "Information Technology" of Government Girls Polytechnic Jakholi (GGPJ) are also running in this Institute.

       As the place Rudraprayag is a holy confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, in a similar fashion for our students this institute is a confluence of Skill and Will. The Institute is situated on Rishikesh-Badrinath National Highway-58, at village Ratura, District Rudraprayag. Keeping in view the vast progress in the field of industrialization in this state, Polytechnics have to redefine themselves and come with shoulder to shoulder status with the industries. We are trying to develop human resource with same pace as industrial growth is going on.
