Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
About Instrument and its applications-
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy facility was established at IIC, IIT Roorkee in the year 2005. The machine is capable of recording 1H, 13C, 31P NMR spectra which are routinely performed to get structural information of small molecules as well as polymeric compounds. 2D and 3D NMR spectra are also recorded for studying protein structure determination and DNA drug interaction studies.
Other facilities available
1) UV-Vis Double beam Spectrophotometer (Cary Bio 100, make: Varian)
2) Spectrofluorometer (Model Fluoro Log, make: Horba Jobin Yvon)
