The TIMS laboratory runs under the DST sponsored National Facility for Isotope Geology and Geochronology.
Clean Room:
1) Class 100 clean lab facility for sample processing
2) Rb-Sr, Sm-Nd, Analysis for Rocks and minerals being done routinely
3) Pb-Pb facility under development
Applications:
It has wide applications in the fields of isotope geology, planetary research, environmental research, nuclear industry etc.
