Internship
UG curriculam contain a 2-credit component of departmental core course on industrial/field training for 6-10 weeks, generally carried out during the summer vacation following the spring semester of third year.
It is desirable for the students to undergo training outside the Institute. Every effort should be made for arranging a summer internship outside IIT Roorkee.
Under special circumstances, a student can undergo training in an academic department/centre within the institute. The evaluation of this course will be carried out in the autumn semester of fourth year.
