About Us

Infrastructure Planning Lab (IPL@IITR) in the Department of Architecture and Planning at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has been set up in 2020 with an aim to produce quality research that could help to solve various issues related to Infrastructure Planning for better living. The research group consists of faculty members, research scholars, post-graduate and under-graduate students of the Institute. The Lab is currently performing research in the domain of Urban Mobility Infrastructure, Urban Water Management, Public Transportation Planning, Tourism Infrastructure Planning, Pedestrian Mobility Planning, Spatial Rural Development, and many other.

The vision of this lab is to produce solutions through scientific research for the issues and challenges in the domain of Infrastructure Planning
