Tell us something about your experience before joining DoMS IIT Roorkee?
I completed my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Mumbai. I held the positions of Social Networking Secretary of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering RGIT and Joint Digital Creative Secretary of RGIT MESA. I was the pilot of Team Altos Infinitum RGIT, which secured national 3rd rank in SAE India Aero Design Challenge 2019. I worked as a Plant Operations intern at Everest Kanto Cylinder ltd. and as a Sales and Marketing Intern at MyCaptain. I have completed training at Indian Railways.
What is it that you want to learn and become more proficient at during your stay at DoMS IIT Roorkee?
I want to gain in-depth knowledge of business management fundamentals, learn and develop skills in management, and utilize them for application in the industry. I want to enhance management and relevant technical skills by implementing them in solving real business problems and scenarios. DoMS IIT Roorkee will provide me with various opportunities and help me understand management across business functions with a holistic perspective. The experiences throughout my stay will build me as a professional and elevate my personality.
What suggestions would you like to give to a prospective student about DoMS IIT Roorkee?
If you have the right mindset and want to bring the best out of you, you will find ample opportunities at DoMS, IIT Roorkee. The program covers different aspects of learning through curriculum and experiences. With the infrastructure and available resources, an individual goes through overall development. Make the most out of it and you will have a great life ahead.
