Moumita Maiti is a Professor in the Department of Physics of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India.
She received her Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics from SINP & Visva-Bharati University, India in 2006.
She has worked as a MARIE CURIE Postdoctoral Fellow at the Technical University of Munich, Physik E15, Germany, and Visiting scientist at CERN, Switzerland.
She has completed several research projects sponsored by various agencies of Govt. of India such as DST, CSIR, and SERB and several are under process.
Her current research engagements are nuclear reaction dynamics at low energy, fission dynamics in the sub-lead island, SHE research, accelerator-based neutron-deficient radioisotopes for various applications, etc.
