Batch 1980 Girl Fee Waiver Partial Scholarship
|
UG girl students of III-year and IV-year from the department of Chemical/Civil/Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Mechanical/Industrial/Metallurgical & Materials Engineering and Architecture & Planning having a minimum CGPA of 7.5 up to the previous academic year. Those students, who have a backlog or failed an exam, or appeared for re-examination for grade improvement, will not be eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship will be paid as a partial fee waiver directly against the fee of the awardees in the spring semester.

A scholarship of approx. Rs. 3 Lakhs annually for next four-five (04 years if student opts for BS only & 05 years if opts for BS-MS) years for one financially constrained student (gross income < Rs. 5 lakhs).

Aditya Birla Scholarship
|
Top 20 students in terms of their ranking on the admission list. Of this cohort, at least four (04) must be lady students. Institute has the leeway to widen the selection base. Out of the 20 students at least 4 students must be nominated from disciplines other than computers and electronics. This requires zeroing in on the top ranked student from different engineering streams viz. mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical (4) and 1 on merit-cum-means basis.

|
To support four (04) full tuition fee waiver of Rs. 2.0 lakh each per year to financially needy undergraduate students pursuing an engineering education in any of the existing engineering branches at IIT Roorkee starting in the first year of their studies. The selected student will continue to avail the benefit of the scheme until they (he/she) satisfies the established criteria for the scheme and graduates.

Engineers India Limited (EIL) Scholarship
|
To meritorious and deserving SC & ST students (SC- 10 nos. & ST- 5 nos.) pursuing full time undergraduate engineering programme in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial, Chemical and Instrumentation disciplines. 7 nos. of the scholarships (ST-5 nos. & ST-2 nos.) shall be reserved for girl students. However, in case of non availability of students in either category, students from other category may be considered. Gross Annual income from all souces of the parents/guardian of the selected candidate shall not exceed Rs. 3,00,000/-. A candidate in receipt of any other financial aid/stipend from any other source whatsoever shall not be eligible for EIL Scholarship. Selection shall be made on the basis of performance in Class XII/Diploma in Engineering. Candidate should have secured 55% or equivalent CGPA/CPI in aggregate in Class XII/Diploma in Engineering.

HORIBA Talent Hunt Scholarship
|
To support 20 partial tuition fee waiver of Rs. 66,000/- each to financially constrained undergraduate students under Corporate Social Responsibility. All General and OBC category students of B. Tech., B.Arch. or Integrated or Dual degree programmes taking 2/3 Tuition Fee Waiver, but not availing Merit Cum Means (MCM) scholarship. The selection process will be based on inviting applications from the students at the individual level. The list of eligible students will be sorted in ascending order of their family income.

James Thomason Scholarship
|
the eligibility cut-off for students was up to All India Rank (AIR) 250 in JEE (Advanced). A student gets Rs. 25,000 per month for 10 months in an academic year for the entire duration of the programme. To continue this scholarship, the student is expected to maintain a CGPA of 8.0 at the end of each academic year.

|
Open for meritorious girls across India. Applicant's must have scored 75% or more marks or equivalent CGPA in class 12 board examinations. Applicant's annual family income must be below INR 6,00,000 (Rupees 6 Lakh). Meritorious girls who have secured admission to the first year of graduation programs in the academic year- 2024 from institutes of repute (NIRF/NAAC accredited) for professional graduation degrees like Engineering, MBBS, Integrated LLB (5 Years) or other professional courses (Design, Architecture, etc).

Shraman Foundation Scholarship
|
To support 60 scholarships of maximum Rs. 35,000/- per semester to financially constrained undergraduate students (amounts awarded each semester may vary based on actual financial needs of individual students). Minimum number of awardees will be 15 students. Minimum scholarship amount per semester will be Rs. 15,000/-. Only 1st and 2nd year Undergraduate students of B. Tech., B.Arch., B.Des. or Dual degree programmes whose annual family income is less than Rs. 5 Lakhs, but not availing any other similar scholarship. Students must pass their grades/subjects no backlogs in previous semester.
