Poster

A visual, conversational format: ideal for recently published work, work in progress, exploratory results, or a first conference experience.

Dedicated poster session, judged for two Best Poster awards
One-on-one discussions with leading AI researchers to drive meaningful improvements in ongoing work.
Opportunity to publish a full paper in a Scopus-indexed post-conference proceeding, subject to peer review.

All presenters (Poster, Flash Talk and Oral alike) are invited to submit a full-length paper for the CARE 2026 post conference proceedings volume, published and indexed on Scopus.

Travel Grants for Student Participants

To keep CARE COnference 2026 accessible regardless of funding situation, a limited number of travel grants are available for selected UG/PG/PhD student participants presenting an accepted abstract.

Partial-to-full travel support in 3AC class
Priority for outstation students and those without institutional funding
Apply via the travel grant form after abstract acceptance
Limited seats: early submission improves your chances

01 September 2026 — Submissions Open
The extended abstract portal opens for Poster, Flash Talk and Oral tracks.
30 September 2026 — Submission Deadline*
Last date to submit your 1-page extended abstract. Submit early — no guaranteed extensions.
10 October 2026 — Decision Notification
Authors notified of acceptance and assigned presentation track.
Mid-to-Late October 2026 — Travel Grant Applications
Selected student participants apply for travel support; awardees confirmed ahead of the conference.
01–15 November 2026 — Final Poster / Slides Upload
Accepted presenters upload final material for their assigned track.
03–05 December 2026 — CARE Conference 2026
Poster sessions, Flash Talks, Oral presentations and the Best Presentation Awards ceremony.
Post-Conference — Full Paper Call Opens
Presenters invited to submit full papers for the Scopus-indexed proceedings.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

I've never presented at a conference before. Is this still for me?

Yes — the Poster track is specifically designed to welcome first-time presenters, including undergraduates. Mentorship and presentation-prep resources are shared with all accepted authors.

Do I need a full paper ready to submit an extended abstract?

No. Only a 1-page extended abstract is required to present at the conference. The full paper is an optional next step, invited only after the conference for those pursuing the Scopus-indexed proceedings.

Can undergraduates apply for Flash Talk or Oral slots?

Flash Talk and Oral Presentation are currently reserved for PhD students and postdocs, given the depth of live Q&A expected. Undergraduates and PG students are warmly encouraged to submit to the Poster track.

How is the travel grant amount decided?

Grants are awarded competitively based on distance traveled, financial need and abstract quality, subject to available funds. Details and the application form are shared upon abstract acceptance.

Will I know my presentation track before I submit?

You can indicate a preferred track when submitting. The scientific committee assigns the final track based on content, maturity of the work, eligibility and session scheduling needs.
